HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I'm spending today getting ready to leave town for the holiday. I'll be spending my Christmas with my family in Louisiana. Not quite all that excited about leaving sunny southern California and jetting off to cold & wet Louisiana.

Yet,.. one of the things that will be waiting for me that we don't get much of here in L.A.,.. and that reminds me of winter and makes it feel like Christmas,.. is a roaring fire. Until I get to sit in front of a real fire,.. I've made do.

I spent yesterday in the emergency room with my girlfriend waiting for the doctors to figure out exactly what was wrong. Me, easily bored,... And easily amused,... And in an effort to make her laugh,.. Had a little fun with the pain ranking board.

And what that means is, yes,.. you can subscribe via RSS here,.. but if you subscribe to the feed addy via your ITunes,.. then, everytime I post a new episode,.. that episode or video will get downloaded into your Itunes,.. and therefore onto your Iphone or Ipad when you sync. Just click on this link and everything will be done for you:

If you'd like to set this up manually,.. it's easy. Here's how:

1. Open one of the above feed links.
2. Copy the link URL.
3. Open ITunes.
4. In the ITunes menu, click on "Advanced".
5. Select "Subscribe to Podcast". A blank box will appear.
6. Past the feed addy into that box and click "okay".
7. Presto! You have subscribed.
8. Click on "Podcasts" in the left-sided menu of ITunes. You will see the podcasts downloading. Once they have downloaded,.. you can begin viewing.

MANLY MONDAY

Anyone who knows me,... knows of my love for Hugh Jackman. Well,.. if variety is the spice of life, then I've settled on a little piece of cinnamon: Chris Hemsworth.

I don't normally go for blondes,.. but,.. um.. I'll make an exception for this one. Besides,.. I've seen the promo photos for Chris's next upcoming movie SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN and they've colored his hair a nice shade of brown. Either way,.. I wouldn't kick him out of bed.

Because I love artsy black & white stuff here's one of those.

Hmmmmm. Hugh Jackman? Brandon Routh? ( I don't care what you people say,.. they give me a hard time about this one and make homophobic jokes,... ) And now Mr. Hemsworth... I must really have a super hero fetish. Heh heh.

And,.. let's not forget THIS gratuitous moment. I shit you not,... every woman ( and some of the men) in the theater gasped when this happened...

IT'S ALL GOTTA GO!

Last Friday I was at Meltdown Comics for a Hero Initiative event. While I was waiting for things to get started,.. I popped over to their new gallery space to see the current installation: 35 DAYS WITH KEVIN EASTMAN. Kevin is the creator of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the current co-owner of Heavy Metal Magazine. Inside the gallery, Kevin has set up his actual home studio that he is auctioning off to benefit my favorite charity, the Hero Initiative.

Can I tell ya how cool this is? Everything is encased behind glass just as it was in his home. From his work to his own personal memorabilia,.. it's all there. MY favorite item,... having dated a few artists in my time,... is the headshot of Kevin's ex-wife Julie Strain - on the photo a handwritten message from Julie saying, "NO drinking!". Lady knows how it goes with these guys.. LOL.
